Once you have decluttered the kitchen, pantry, meals, foyer, and laundry room, it’s time to learn how to declutter the bathroom.
How Do You Declutter a Bathroom?
When you begin to declutter the bathroom, you should first clear off all surfaces and empty all drawers. This will allow you to see what you have and to throw away any expired items.
As you are removing items, group similar items together. Separating them into groups first will help speed up the process.
After removing everything, be sure to clean the counters and drawers before putting anything back.
Once the items are separated, and the drawers and counters are cleaned, decide how you want to store what’s left.

Using drawer dividers can help keep the items in drawers neat and tidy and stop them from sliding around.
If you have makeup, you’d like to keep on the counter for easy access; this acrylic cosmetic organizer would be perfect! It has four drawers and holds hair accessories, jewelry, and makeup with ease.
Under the sink, you can keep your cleaning and bath supplies neatly organized in a sliding basket organizer. I like this one because it doesn’t tip forward when you pull out the top basket.

You can add over-the-door hooks to hold towels, robes, and clothing. I usually use over-the-door hooks, because I don’t like putting holes in the doors.
If you like to keep cotton balls, q-tips, and makeup brushes on the counter, these glass containers will look beautiful displayed on the counter.
Keeping a laundry basket in the bathroom or closet will help keep clothes and towels off the floor. If you don’t have enough room for a laundry basket or hamper, hang a mesh laundry bag on the back of the bathroom door.
My favorite tip of all is to keep a trash can in the bathroom to avoid clutter and to keep trash from accumulating.
That’s It!
As long as you remember to store items where you use them and keep less frequently used items put away, your bathroom will stay clean and organized.
Also, be sure to purge regularly (every few months), so things don’t pile up again.
As you can see, these steps to declutter your bathroom are quick and easy. What is stopping you from decluttering your bathroom? Let me know; I’m here to help! 🙂

I like this series! I have the metal shelf organizer. Mine came with dividers. I have a standard bathroom counter with two sinks. I would love to get organizers to place on top but I’m not one to deal with to much clutter on counters. The shelf organizer fits good under the sink and holds a lot! Nice to see that it was mentioned!
