8 Simple Ways to Declutter Your Linen Closet
Hey there! 🙂 After you declutter your linen closet, you will be able to store much more than just sheets and towels. You can store toiletries, paper products, cleaning products, and personal care items in the linen closet.
How to Declutter Your Linen Closet
- Place items that are seldom used or those you want to keep out of children’s reach on the upper shelves.
- Keep heavy and large items on the floor and sheets and towels at your waist level.
- Use plastic containers or space-saving bags for comforters and seasonal fabrics to keep moisture and bugs away.
- Place pretty baskets on the shelves and fill them with toiletries, cleaning products, or whatever you desire.
- Fold towels in thirds or roll them up to maximize space.
- Fold sheets and place them inside the pillowcase to keep them together. Have 2 sets for each bed and purchase different color sheets for each bed. This will make it easier to identify which sheets go on which bed.
- After washing and folding your sheets and towels, place the clean ones on top and grab the one on the bottom to use. This will ensure that all the sheets and towels will be used and maintain a fresh smell.
- Only keep items in your linen closet that you know you will need and use.
It doesn’t require much time, and it is very simple to declutter your linen closet. Doing so will extend the life of your sheets and towels because they will be properly cared for.
